Deleting or Un-sending Messages

Erasing a Message? Here's What You Can Do on HUD! 🗑️💬

Regret hitting 'send'? Fret not! Here’s how the HUD app has your back when it comes to managing your messages.

Can You Delete a Single Message on HUD? 🚫📜

• Basic Accounts:

  • HUD does not permit the deletion of individual messages.

  • You can delete entire conversations, but you'll need to unmatch with the individual. In doing so, you'll vanish from their list, and they from yours.

    To Unmatch:

    • Navigate to your match's profile.
    • Tap the matches photo and select unmatch.
    • Select "Unmatch."

    Remember, unmatching is irreversible!
    
    

• Handling Unwanted Attention:

  • To manage unpleasant interactions, you can either block or report a user through the app. 
    
    

• Premium+ Perks:

  • Subscribers to HUD's Premium+ have the ability to un-send messages. If you sent something by mistake or in the heat of the moment, this feature is your safety net!

    To Unsend a Message:

    • Simply hold down on the message you wish to take back.
    • Opt for "Unsend" from the emerging menu options, and breathe easy.
